What is the Gospel? (eBook)

Once I heard someone saying “the Gospel is that Jesus died, He was buried, and He was raised”. Well, this is the least truth about the gospel. The idea is not that Jesus died, He was buried, and He was raised. The mean idea is the “why?” behind what He did, and what did He want to accomplish. Jesus’ death on the cross was not His mission to the world, death was only a medium through which His mission could be accomplished. All that He did was done in our place so He could save us from what we deserved (destruction), this made it possible for us to also receive what only Him deserved (life). The reason He died was for us to have life so that we cannot die. This last statement should not confuse you, that’s why this Book was written so that you can understand what really the gospel is. Understanding this truth will help you have the right mentality as a child of God.
